This is Eternal Life
"This is eternal life: That they may know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."(John 7:3)

Good News:
God is our Heavenly Father. He created us to a spiritual communion with himself. However, the relationship between us and God was broken when the first man, Adam, rejected God's authority. We lost the trusting communion with the Father, Son and Spirit. The consequence was spiritual and bodily death.
God did not want to lose us!
The broken relationship could only be restored by God's holy blood. The Son of God , Jesus Christ, sacrificed himself for our sins when He suffered and died on the cross. By His atoning sacrifice we have received God's forgiveness. The relationship between humans and God has been restored. We can come back to God by faith in this good news - the gospel.
"The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." (Rom. 6:23)
